Seabuckthorne Fruit Virgin Carrier Oil

Virgin Organic Seabuckthorn Fruit Oil is extracted from the fruit of the Hippophae rhamnoides shrub using the CO2 extraction method. The berries are said to be the single highest vegetal source of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, unsaturated fatty acids and essential amino acids and beta-carotene, which gives them their bright color.

Common Uses: Virgin Organic Seabuckthorn Fruit Oil is a fantastic ingredient in massage blends, aromatherapy creams and facial serums. It is typically used in dilution (less than 10% recommended).

Absorption: Absorbs into the skin at an average speed and leaves a light sheen feel.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of up to 2 years with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight).

Cautions: Can stain sheets and skin; do not use over 5% - 10% in creams and lotions. This oil is very sensitive to air and heat. Overheating this oil can cause polymerization.
